Princess celestia's cutie mark (not the massive background one) was made by :iconparclytaxel: [link] It was a great help because her cutie mark is a pain in the ass to get right.
It took 13 hours and 30mins in paint sai, i maxxed out the memory on sai with this image which was a first
I really Hope you all like this picture, i put my heart and soul into it. ^___^ Damn i wanna be featured on eqd!!!!

Hey there! I'd just love to say what a fantastic piece this is! :3

If I may ask, how did you get such like depth and colour to your drawings? I also use SAI, and only manage to create simple filled colours, unlike the beautiful blending above!

Is there any way that you could perhaps give any tips on how to get the blending and "paint-style" of your art?

lots and lots of layers for the lights and darks,also i use the water tool alot.i do have a speed paint, idk if itl help you out much but you may like it [link] if you have any questions feel free to send me a note.

Looks pretty cool, really good job at Shading, though the wings could be better or the eyes. Try to make the wings a bit more detailed, they look a bit like blankets or something... the metal structure is pretty awesome on the hooves and necklace and crown, but I always thought her mane and tail would be a bit shinier... just some suggestions to make you an even better artist, you got everything you need to become a really really awesome artist :)
One thing I noticed in some of your works, you make the eyes too big, and also you lack a bit of anatomy knowledge. No offense, that's pretty easy to learn, too so.... you should focus on this next time, then it'll be perfect!
