So yea i drew luna, again.
I know its a very unoriginal concept to have Luna in or on the moon..But I did it anyways :) Screw the rules i draw ponies!.

I did use space stock this time for the background and her hair cause it only looks about 100 times better with it.

This piece for Luna is absolutely fantastic. You really captured her mane in a unique way befitting to the Princess of the Night. The moon created with the clouds and stars in the background is truly phenomenal. As well as the stars in general, reminds me of thousands of dancing fireflies against the night sky, that sort of evoke an emotion of joy, which I feel it is hard to do in any work of art. The incredible detail in her mane is really mind blowing, it blends with the night sky but stands out at the same time, not an easy feat to pull off! Also her crown is very well drawn as well as her horn.

There are two areas I feel that could use improvement. One is her neck seems a tad bit long giving her an abnormal shape. Also the blur on the eye seems to have been over done. Also like you said its been done before... but honestly I never really get sick of seeing Luna on her moon :D
